Do
you whiten teeth?
Yes. In fact, we offer you a choice of whitening in our office or at
home. In-office whitening brightens your teeth in about an hour.
Professional take-home bleaching kits are convenient and easy to use.
Simply wear the tray and professional gel at night until your teeth
become the color you desire. Usually, take-home treatment takes about
14 days or less.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We’re a preferred provider for Delta, Blue Cross/Blue
Shield, Guardian, and Mashantucket Insurance. While you’re in
the dental chair, we'll work behind the scenes to optimize your dental
benefits, filing claims from our office as a courtesy to you. For
patients with other insurance providers, we'll file an out-of-network
claim. Simply pay your deductible or co-pay at the end of your visit.
If your provider does not pay the full estimated portion, we'll bill
you for the balance.
Do you place amalgam fillings?
Yes we do. We give our patients a choice between standard amalgam
fillings and tooth-colored composite fillings. Many patients prefer an
all-white smile, so composite resin fillings have become very popular.
However, amalgam fillings have been deemed completely safe by the
American Dental Association, so we will fill your teeth with whichever
material you prefer.
Do
you treat children?
Yes. In fact, Dr. Goodwin counts his young daughters, Nina and Allison,
among his many satisfied patients. As a true family practice, our team
understands the needs and concerns of young patients. We will care for
your children's smiles with a tender touch. Helping your kids develop
and maintain healthy smiles will be our sincere pleasure.
